BuildFairUK provides an independent document review based only on the information supplied by the customer.

Our review is not legal advice, a building survey, a structural assessment, a formal valuation, quantity surveying advice, or a guarantee of final project cost or contractor performance.

We do not recommend builders, rank builders, introduce builders, or accept referral fees.

Our review is intended to help homeowners identify unclear wording, missing information, risk areas and sensible questions to ask before accepting a builder’s quote.

The customer is responsible for deciding whether to proceed with any builder, contractor, quotation or project.

BuildFairUK is not responsible for the quality, conduct, pricing, workmanship, availability, financial stability or performance of any builder or contractor.

Any pricing observations are broad comments based on the documents supplied and should not be treated as a formal valuation or cost plan.

By uploading documents, the customer confirms they are authorised to share those documents with BuildFairUK for review.

Refund & cancellation policy

BuildFairUK provides a bespoke document review service, usually completed within 2 working days of payment and document confirmation.

You may cancel and request a full refund at any time before we have started reviewing your submitted documents.

By making payment, you agree that BuildFairUK may begin reviewing your documents before the end of the standard 14-day cancellation period.

If you cancel after review work has started, we may deduct a reasonable amount for work already completed.

Once your Quote Health Check report has been completed and delivered, the service is considered fulfilled and refunds will not usually be available unless we have failed to provide the service with reasonable care and skill.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
